The problem I have, is that Monks strike with more than their fists. So an amulet of Magic Fang, sounds good, but bracers that give flaming hands doesn't seem quite right. What about when you kick them? Or use an elbow? etc?

.

No no. Flaming hands was just the image that I had in my mind. IIRC The bracers give you the bonus to all unarmed (natural weapon?) attacks.

Why are bracers double weapons?

There is no such thing as an off-hand attack for a monk using unarmed strikes, and hence no reason to suppose they're attacking using only one hand.

Because that is what it says to do in the book? :)

Hmm, I think it would be for balance reasons. It would be nice if they had the single weapon cost, but I can live with the MoF price.

Question: since MF and GMF targets one natural weapon, but a monk's body is the weapon, would you let one casting affect all of the monk's attacks?

IMC it effects one natural weapon, but I also play in campaigns where it effects the whole body, I think that is too much boosting with one spell for the druid / monk / two-handed "unarmed" fighter.

No. But I'll let you pick which attack is the magical one.

IMO yes.

A Monk with 5 attacks using unarmed strilke is still only using one natural weapon. Eight body parts are mentioned in the PH, but they are all used interchangably without benefit or restriction. If I wanted to attack my opponent five times with my left elbow, there is nothing in the rules that would prevent it.

A Dragon with Claw/Claw/Bite/Tail/Wing attacks is using five natural weapons. They are listed as seperate weapons.

A non-monk using both fists is using two natural weapons.
