Holy moly. That is so OP![]()
Wow.Way its worded you can upcast as well.
Lots of OP stuff in FotA and a cou0le of epic books in Heroes of Faerun.
Wow.
I thought Magic Initiate was strong. Kinda like being half of a level 1 Wizard for the cost of a feat.
But this Dragonmark stuff is off the hook. It’s like being a half of a 9th level Warlock for the cost of 2 feats![]()
To clarify, the Potent Dragonmark feat is only available at character level 4+, and it gives you one extra spell slot to cast a spell granted by your Dragonmark feat. That spell slot is half your level (round up), to a maximum of spell slot level 5. It is regained on a short rest, making it quite powerful. That said, as the maximum spell slot level is 5 and limited to your character level/2 (round up), I don't think it is that powerful in practice given that it is the second feat on a feat chain. Yes, it is good, but probably not over-powered.Dragonmark feats from eberron and potent dragonmark. You get any spell on your dragonmark list 1/short rest.
Staff is a Spellcasting Focus for your Druid Spell when you have a Spellcasting feature saying so, which you don't. Nor is Magic Initiate giving you access to any Spellcasting Focus.Shillelagh is a Druid spell. Quarterstaff is a valid Druid spell casting focus.

Well… the Knowledge Cleric gets to do the free spell slot per short rest thing on a very limited list of Divination spells. It’s pretty nice, but more of a utility feature. The one thing about that which is pretty strong is not needing material components for Identify. That’s like an infinite money glitch right there. Great business opportunity for the Knowledge TempleFrom a curated lists but yes.
Knowledge cleric kinda similar but they nerfed it from playtest.
The major problem is how good Conjure Minor Elementals is when you have lots of attacks. I have played Warlocks, and there's plenty more to them than just their spell slots. Conjure Minor Elementals should have a maximum of adding to at most 3 attacks per round to better balance it.Adding 3d8 damage to every attack on a class with a lot of attacks, proficiency in con saves and indomitable....
No, it is not. The 100gp Pearl material component for Identify is not consumed when the spell is cast. The pearl material component was consumed in AD&D, 3E and 3.5E D&D, but not in newer editions since then. Per the D&D 2024 Player's Handbook page 237, "A material component is a particular material used in a spell's casting [..]. These materials aren't consumed by the spell unless the spell's description states otherwise."The one thing about that which is pretty strong is not needing material components for Identify.
