Bregandonne

Sedoc runs to bind up and stabilize Duncan's wounds.
As Harold collapses, Sedoc yells back at the driver (cowering under the bench) to help Harold.

[As I have not actually gone through the act of purchasing items yet, will Paeter allow for a few bottles of CLW potions for just such an occasion?]

Sedoc quickly makes the rounds of the fallen, remarkably bold, Kobolds to search for anything of value. As soon as possible, the party gets back to the wagon., and the wagon gets moving again.

Sedoc takes the horse (has to get on by standing on the side of the wagon) and makes a quick scouting run in the area ahead. Nearly full gallop along the forest edge. Any sign of more Kobolds and he turns and heads for the wagon. Half a mile of road ahead and he turns back at a quick trot.

"Status report" he calls as he returns.

I'll allow it, your down 250 gld.

You dont find much on the kobolds. 5 silver 20 copper, but what is unusual is the big Kobold, he wears a silver ring and his weapons are of normal quality. Excellent in fact for a kobold to have. The cross bows of the 5 in the woods are of amazing quality for a kobold as well.

Upon further searching you find a piece of parchment with scratches of some sort on it.

"I'd be looking for a private cabin if at all possible. However, speed of transit is the primary concern. I'm looking to be there as soon as I can."

"weeall wes gots three ships yea may be lookin at. THe Harbringer is privatley owned but non faster yull find. But...speed and privacy are costly. Now for much more reasonable fare yah might talk with the Captain Luganis of the Head Chop, or Mistriss Kerrigan of the Indifferent Cudgel. Both fine ships with reasonable accomadations and prices.

THat i dunno, its thier captain you'll be needin to talk ta. He'll be found over yonder in the Drowned Harlot, goes by the name of Rashiid the Rake.

So your men are badly beat with your two potions Harold is able to ride The horse while Duncan is relegated to keepin back watch with the crossbow. Wayne on the other hand :):):):) his britches and is stinking the whole wagon to high hell.

Sedoc and Harold head back and gather the coin, parchment, crossbows and ring before continuing on.

A few miles down the trail, once Wayne has calmed down a cowardly bit, Sedoc orders a brief stop to clean up and reorganize.

"What the mushroom-mother was that? They were well too organized and too nicely armed to be random kobolds. Look at these weapons. Too nice for the kobolds.

You guys ok on the trail or should we make early camp tonight?"

[ooc where is the next town - days or hours away?]
