another one of my recent creations........
I need some help finishing up “the pain of buffing” ability, adding up all the types of spells to get a better chart of buff hp drains (like –1 buff hp per damage delt, things like that).
Thanks

“THEN PACH UP MY WONDS TILL THE CLARIC AWAKENS, YOU DOLT”!!!, said hector.
Regars eye’s widen “yes, YES, I CAN DO THAT”! said regar happily.

Con is helpful for buff HP, and normal HP (as well as a Buff Masters spell DC, if ever used), as well as fortitude saves. Wisdom is good for bonus spells, and what spells they are able to cast, and also will saves.
Class features
Hit dice: 1d4
Alignment: A Buff Master can be of any alignment but his spells don’t work on members of the opposite alignment, I.E. good and evil, law and chaos.
Starting Gold: As Claric
Starting Age: As Claric
Class skills:
Skills points at 1st Level: (2 + Int modifier) x4
Skills points at Each Additional Level: 2 + Int modifier
Weapon and Armor Proficiency: Buff Master’s are proficient with all simple weapons, and get light armor proficiency.
MultiClassing: Buff Masters can multiclass freely, although not as many spell casters multiclass into the Buff Master class, as multiclass out, because most buff masters use the class as a slow way to get into spellcasting, for it is without the atrocities and killing of war over their head.
Buff Master Special Abilities
Spells: A Buff Master’s magic stems from their love of others, and their pain from seeing others hurt. They pull their spells from an inner reservoir of strength and do it willingly.
A Buff Master knows all their spells, and their spell list consists of all spells and all classes (Arcane and Divine), although with classes like the ranger and paladin, then gain there spells at the same level a member of that class would (or you can compare the Buff Master’s level as the Ranger level to see if applicable), i.e. level 4 for first level ranger spells, alignment restrictions still apply, and with deity specific spells are dealt with normally. But they can only cast spells on others, and the spell needs to add the recipient (note, this dose not stop them from casting weapon buffing spells, but dose stop curses). The difficulty class (DC) for a saving throw against a Buff Master spell is 10 + the spell’s level + wis modifier (if ever needed). Buff Master’s do not get their spells from a spell book, from their deity, or instinctually know them, instead they get their spells from the a reservoir of love within them, and through that, the traces of magic left over from their ancestors. They do not need any hands to cast spells, and so can use weapons and spells with no problem.
A Buff Master has a limited number of spells he can cast a day. But he need not prepare them a head of time; he can only cast them of happy recipients (if cast on some one unwillingly by the recipient the spell fizzles and the spell slot is lost). He needs only verbal motions, and the love to cast it, although he still needs to wait the proper amount of rounds, her still need to make a concentration check when hit with damage, and pays an xp cost equal to 1/5th the material components, if over 1gp. A Buff Master gets bonus spells normally, and with their wis mod.
A Buff Master’s caster level is equal to her Buff Master’s level, it is a separate caster level though, and does not stack with other classes. A Buff Master can only cast spells on others, and the spell needs to aid them. When making magic items (they can only relics of there deity, and cant make wands, although they can use them) they still need all the normal mats, although they can only make items with a buffing ability. To see if you can cast a spell level, use the con modifier. To recharge there spells they need the required races sleep ( E.G. 8 hours for humans), this also recharges their spell HP. A Buff Master can not specialize like a wizard can.
The pain of Buffing: unlike normal casters, a Buff Master casts from their heart, and so every spell has a negative feedback.
A Buff Master has a second set of nonlethal HP (called “buff HP”), and when that set is depleted their spells fizzle out, and they can’t cast spells for the rest of the day (even if they have spell slots). The HD for this HP set is 1d10 (same amout of HD equal to hp), and only a spell cast by the Buff Master can drain from it (and not another Buff Master). For buff HP removed, look at chart below.
Permanent Weapon Enchantments completely deplete this pool for the day the weapons enchantment is completed. Once this pool is depleted their spells stop working, and fizzle out, even if there is spell slots left, they are unreachable. When you get the proper rest for your race, this pool is replenished. You roll this hp like any other, adding your con bonus to it. A spell cast by a Buff Master loses it powers once their spell HP pool is depleted. This HP only heals by time, and only heals 1 HP per hour, or 5 HP per hour when sleeping (it is fully restored after they get their full rest even if this 5 hp has not completely healed it).
Improved buffing: Because their spells are cast with love instead of hate, any spell cast on a humanoid (or its respected subtype) bestows a bonus to ac equal to the buffing bonus. This level of bonus is equal to one. It stacks with everything but another buffing bonus (this thingy). These do not draw from their spell pool. This bonus lasts a number of round equal to the buffing bonus + the Buff Masters con mod, and immediately ends when the Buff Master runs out of buff HP (if two Buff Master cast on the same person, use the higher grade one, and after that, the one with more buff HP).
Grater buffing: This level of buffing also grants a bonus to will saves equal to their buffing bonus, on top of the ac bonus. This level bonus is equal to two.
Extreme buffing: This level of buffing also grants fast healing equal to their buffing bonus on top of their bonus to will saves, and ac bonus. This level bonus is equal to three.
Ultimate buffing: This level of buffing also grants a bonus to fortitude and reflex saves equal to their buffing bonus, on top of the bonus to fast healing, will saves, and ac bonus. This level bonus is equal to four.
Epic buffing: This level of buffing also grants unhelpful spell reflection equal to the buffers bonus, on top of the bonus to fortitude and reflex saves, fast healing, will saves, and ac bonus. This level bonus is equal to five.
Unhelpful spell reflection: When an unhelpful spell is cast on a character with this buff present (on the recipient of the spell), the spell reflects as much damage back on the caster equal to his buffer’s buffing bonus, the dc for this “spell” is equal to the casters original DC + the buffers buffing bonus (minimum +5).
