That was pretty cool! I have a few props I made a couple years ago for my game. You can find them here: DnD Minis - a set on Flickr

Polymer clay makes wonderful props - and isn't very expensive.

I need a good set of stairs - has anyone constructed a nice dungeon staircase?

Awesome!

Subscribed, to this thread and your channel.

Just to add, one of my players, just messing around, made this gelatinous cube out of hot glue and some cut up skeletons and an old dice box. He's experimenting and wasn't completely happy with it.

Here is a link to a downloadable link to make your own 'cube mini.

Yea, he actually started there and is doing quite a few of them to experiment with. I'll see what I can get from him now...

I have been finding plain old cardboard very useful. I draw out a grid on it and cut it up as needed. For example, I ran an encounter a few games back that took place at the edge of a crater with multiple levels, etc (note the use of DVD's to hold them up, hehe). I used the LED candles for fires...

Also brown paper bags... I cut them open and use the insides for maps, lists of names, and other things. This is a map of the primary kingdom in my setting (wasn't done yet)...

For a portal, I just hold their fig over the garbage disposal and ask "are you SURE you want to enter?"
