Building Xena, Gabrielle, Joxer and Callisto

Aside from the fact that the other three are probably very well built already.

I am looking at potentially building joxer as an incompetant fighter which basically means a lot of reskinning - though I am tempted to make him a fighter warlord and that might be easiest.

Gabrielle could well be Martially skinned bard with multiclassing elements to make her so she progresses more towards a Xena - alike.

I think Callistos Epic Destiny of Demigod-hood makes her more interesting than just a clone of Xena.

I am thinking a throw and stab ranger with fighter multiclassing... maybe even some ritual magic thrown in for good measure.

Joxers Mark is literally one of irritation he distracts his enemies from his allies more than anything else that -2 is sometimes cause they would really like to smack him, all his accidental hits can be infuriating.

Accidental Deflect(cleave)

• He makes a feeble or sloppy attack (doing str mod damage) might even be flat of the blade which happens to interupt his enemies stroke at just the right time to cause the enemies weapon to seriously threaten an adjacent enemy.

Woops I didnt see you there (cleave)

• Tired of weak attacks his back swing is too extreme and he hits an enemy he didnt necessarily see or remember the follow through after wards was weak as usual.

Spin About over swing(cleave)

• He misses the first enemy but does enough to threaten them (if they are a minion the probably back up into something and knock themself out) ... but he has way to much follow through for missing and really smashes another enemy, again he might not even have noticed because his helm fell over his eyes just a moment.

Whip Back (Reaping Strike)

• A mechanical miss is the unimpressive hit that he intended that even minions laugh at AND A hit means his intended attack missed but when he whips back trying to get back in to what he thinks is a proper position/facing he scores a real hit....perhaps even the enemy steps into it.

Idiotic Bravery (Threatening Rush)

• Look "joxers made a target of himself - again"

Infuriating Hit (Lasting Threat)

• Everyone gets lucky once in a while when he gets lucky the enemy gets pissed off and cant imagine attacking anyone but him.

Joxer works out fairly well though I need even a few more flavorful skins (like for reaping strike).. here he is so far at level 1.

hey I let him have a charisma (even diplomacy + streetwise) that helps him deal with the common folk ... even if his pretext of being sexy gets laughed at

It might feel funny calling him street wise... but it might be the difference between his abilities in a social arena versus Gabrielle.

Somebody put some effort in to Xena and Gabrielle ... but they are missing the throw and stab aspect of Xena (That Chakram) and He um pumped Xenas attributes to umm godly levels.

However given that, I think she feels pretty good as a marauding ranger...
