C&C: Changes in 2nd edition?

First Post
Are there any major rules changes between the 1st and 2nd editions of Castles & Crusades? I've already got the 1st edition PHB, and I don't want to spend the extra money to pick up the 2nd edition if the changes are just cosmetic.

There are no major rule changes between the 1st and 2nd printings. However, the 2nd printing incorporates much errata, and has superior organization. It, too, is out of print, though. The 3rd printing is now available; a small amount of errata is incorporated (nowhere near as much as there was for the 1st printing), and again, there are no major rule changes (although the assassin's poison table has changed, slightly).

They are printings, not new editions. Their are only minor variances between the last two. The first printing had lots of editing issues but the same rules as well. The new 3rd printing looks more polished, but is the same ruleset.

Yeah, the only thing that can be called "rules changes" in the 3rd printing is they changed poisons to types ( I, II, III, IV, V, and VI), and the prices were drastically lowered. Type I is around 45 GP while type VI is about 1800 GP.

Everything else is just errata clean up.

Plus the new printing is on glossy paper. Not friendly to CK's who like to write in their books, and be able to erase it.
