I wouldn’t pirate or play it.I definitely wouldn't play it because...
That's reason enough. It is definitely eye-opening to read the people in this thread who are clearly willing to look over that fact.

I apologize if you felt that I was insinuating that you would. That was not my intention at all with my post. I only wanted to express that even playing the game would make me feel icky for the aforementioned reasons.I wouldn’t pirate or play it. Don’t assume I would!
I'm mostly curious about how the new edition would interface with some of the alternative subsystems for economics and governance from issue #3 of the Axioms (affiliate link) supplement. There wasn't a lot of change. There wasn't zero, though, so I can see a conversion guide being offered.
Most of the Axioms stuff that affects that kind of worldbuilding is actually incorporated into ACKS II. There's a reason it went from one core book to three.I'm mostly curious about how the new edition would interface with some of the alternative subsystems for economics and governance from issue #3 of the Axioms (affiliate link) supplement.

"Gatekeeping the TTRPG space is ridiculous. Our hobby is far too small to exclude anyone, no matter their experience or interest level. If you play games, you are a gamer. If you make games, you are a game designer. If you like games, you are welcome here."
Exactly. If I have a choice between no gaming community and one filled with Nazis, I'll take no gaming community every time. Solo play is better than playing with Nazis. Gatekeep the Nazis. It's the right thing to do.This is more an educated guess on my part, but I'm pretty sure that Jason Bulmahn and Paizo in general would be in favor of gatekeeping Neo-Nazis and their sympathizers.
I'm all for gatekeeping when it's preventing people who can be disruptive at best, dangerous at worst, from ruining other peoples' fun. Whenever some creep gets kicked out of a table for sexually harassing other players and word spreads, other tables are gatekeeping that person when they don't invite them to their games.
When some bigot harasses other people for uncontrollable aspects of their identity, or bankrolls institutions that make said people's lives worse, and they get their products boycotted, that too is gatekeeping.
Some people shouldn't be brought into the hobby or made to feel welcome in it, and that includes the author of ACKS.
