How the hell does this thing calculate stats?

Str: 17
Int: 14
Wis: 17
Dex: 8
Con: 12
Chr: 17

Ok dex 8 I can agree with, Con 12 too.
But the rest is totally wacko!
Str 17! come on my answer was not even in the midle range.
Int 14! Wow with 1 PhD and finishing my second at the age of 25 I tought I would have more.
Wis 17! Ok 14-15 maybe but not that much.
Chr 17! Almost died laughing on this one. Having more than 5 friend, or friend of both sex give you bonus points? What kind of loner wrote this test?
With those stats I would make an awesome paladin or priest of Kord if other test didn't say I was NG.

Well, it's fair to say that any DM with a heart would've let me re-roll my stats when I was born!

As for my stats, the core rulebooks say I can re-roll them.
