Call of Cthulhu d20 out of print?

I think a second attempt at d20 CoC would be even stronger, since d20 as a system has picked up a few new wrinkles since CoC d20 came out.

For example, I think adding some of the non-combat feats presented in d20 Modern would open up some more options for non-combatants.

Personally, I'd love to run a d20 Modern Call of Cthulhlu...try for more of an action-horror Guierrmo del Toro kinda vibe. It would be just the sort of game that Classic CoC purists were afraid of when CoC d20 was first announced.

You mean like me? ;)

I love traditional CoC, but I've played in a few d20 Modern/CoC games that were great! Crossing the games doesn't bother me in the least, there's nothing that says that you can't play either, or both, and have a great time.

'Cause you know, when the bullets start to fly, all the PCs are gonna die. :p

That's a healthy way to look at it.

Me, I wanna see Ron Perlman and Bruce Campbell with shotguns, blasting away twisted man-fish...

Of course, now that the Sanity rules are OGL -- we pretty much CAN do this sort of stuff -- and so can any publisher who cares to. Sure, you can't use the CoC trademark or licensed properties, but there's all sorts of possibilities starting to emerge.

I'm running a Skull&Bones/Modern/CoC game -- Modern base classes plus Skull&Bones background material and prestige classes with Sanity rules. First game is Mar 20 -- yahoo!

When I got Skull and Bones, my main thought was, I wish this were d20 Modern.

My first Skull and Bones game is this Sunday! :D I cannot wait to hear how your game goes. I finally figured out what the Mayan Vampire Concubine needed the Spanish Admiral for!! Among other things! ;)

Post the outcome of your game! I'm excited to hear how our games intersect and diverge.

My MVC needs access to two things -- the Spanish fleet, so that she can scour the Mediterranean for the other skulls, and the island of (I think) Cozumel, where the gateway to Xibalba is located.

Cool tidbit: Phillippe de Longvilliers de Poincy, high-ranking member of the Knights of Malta and French governor in the Caribbean in the mid-to-late 1600's -- did he acquire a skull? What would the KoM want with such an artifact?

What indeed?

:D

LOL! :) Cozumel is where I am placing the gateway also!! Just a tidbit of info in return. The entrance to Xibalba, the Mayan underworld is said to be through a Mayan Ball Court.
