Campaign World Preferences

You do know you can buy all the Al-Quadim stuff as an ESD, don't you? ;)

Well, I have all the original Al-Qadim publications so I never had a reason to look. But that's good news for other folks!

Buy the ESDs, read the Arabian Nights, watch some Sinbad movies, and go wild. It's an excellent setting.

I think Forgotten Realms is the best there is... Second one is Scarred Lands. I'm another one of Nightfall's converts... Reading this thread made me feel like I'm in a harem or something.
And third, there's the Warhammer world, where I run my current campaign.

There's a link the story hour in my .sig, by the way. It should be updated soonish.

I did purchase the "Arabian Adventures" book and the Monster Compendium for it as an ESD (I already have the box). And yes, it is an excellent setting - which makes it one of the more than a dozen excellent settings I want to try out in actual play one day...

Maybe I'll hijack our next FR campaign and get the PCs there for a few adventures.

Well, if we are allowed to mention non-d20 settings, then I will also mention Warhammer, which we easily adapted to GURPS.

Other favorites:

- Shadowrun
- Transhuman Space
- Blue Planet

I currently run 2 campaigns in the more or less modified FR. One is set in Mulhorand/Unther (heavily modified) another in Cormyr, with forays to the Sword Coast.
