Can 2 user accounts be used on the same computer?

I can run two IDs from my machine. Not only do you have to change your security settings to accept ENworld's cookies (c is for cookie, that's good enough for me), but you should also clear your cookies, so you start with a fresh slate. Previous ID cookies will mess up new logins.

All this talk of cookies is making me hungry.

If you've got two different browsers (say IE and Netscape) you can easily stay logged in on two accounts. It's the method I use, with my primary account (Jarval) under IE, and my Star Wars Iconics account under Netscape.

Of course, this won't be any use if you don't have more than one browser installed, but I though it was worth suggesting.

I'm lucky; my wife prefers to browse with Netscape and me with IE, so we don't have any cookie conflicts. Of course, my wife also doesn't read these boards..

Which version of Netscape do people use to make the boards not look terrible?
I just upgraded to 4.79, and it's absolutely horrendous-looking and slow.

I'm at my wit's end on this login problem, and I've tried every recommendation so far.

I'm using Netscape 7.0 (a huge improvement on previous versions, IMO), and the boards seem to look fine in that. The post reply page can look a little odd on occasion, but since the addition of the Quick Reply box, I hardly ever use the full Post Reply page anyway.
