Can I get extra Attacks based on Strength?

I've got a character with +5 Base Attack, but his strength mod is +6 (using Dragon Disciple). Would this give me an attack bonus of +11 or +11?+6/+1?

does this mean that when I'm taking prestige classes I don't get any extra attacks? The BAB for most prestige classes doesn't include extra attacks.

The BAB for prestige classes doesn't include extra attacks beacuse that's how the designers chose to format it - it would be kind of pointless to list those extra attacks anyway without knowing what base class you're adding the prestige class to - but they most certainly do grant extra attacks, provided the combined BAB from the base and prestige class is high enough.

You get extra attacks based on your total Base Attack Bonus. Add the Base Attack Bonus from all your class levels (prestige or otherwise). You get two attacks at BAB +6, three attacks at BAB +11, four attacks at BAB +16. Your second attack is at BAB - 5, third attack is BAB - 10, fourth attack is BAB - 15.

Extra bonuses to hit (like Strength gives you a bonus to hit with melee attacks) are only added to your BAB when rolling to hit.
