Only I seem to be the only advertiser on here at the moment, which aside from the fact that I'm burning through impressions at a furious rate, it means that every time I browse ENWorld I'm spending my own money! (Every page I look at uses up one of my impressions).

Dammit! I've burnt through three impressions just writing this post! Curse you preview button!

Guess I'd better go over to RPGNet where I can browse for free.

Maybe banner ads aren't the way to go.

Maybe Russ should line up 12 advertisers, one for each month of the year. During a particular company's month, they get to be the only company that has ads running. They get, say, two high-profile interviews (chances to plug their products). Heck, maybe they are the only ones who can post advertisments and press releases outside of the normal forum for that sort of thing (again, for that month only). And for that month, the selected company pays the server costs.

I'd be interested in advertising, but as has already been pointed out, the sheer speed at which banners get burned up put me off. Back in 2006 or 2007, I bought the small package of ads - I think I burned through it in under two days. I found it too expensive for that brief exposure.
