D&D 3E/3.5 Can you convert Spelljammer to 3.5?

It would be quite easy to convert it into 3.5, and in fact Polyhedron did it back in the days of the dual Dungeon/Poly #151. There are also pleanty of online materials:
Spelljammer: Beyond the Moons (For all your Spelljamming needs)

Spelljammer

Those two should give you all you need.

Personally, if I were going to do it I would take a strong dose of Eberron and make the spelljamming ships elemental vessals (ether elementals maybe) and throw in warforged and the technomagic of the setting.

Or you could use Star Wars Saga and just throw in some fantasy races and change some of the explinations if you want to really focuse on things like fights between star vessels.

Thanks a bunch

I ran a campaign for my kids that used the 3.5 conversion available at spelljammer.org. It worked fine. I had my kids in a gnomish spelljammer powered by giant space hamsters, and they were druids hired on to care for the hamsters. Then the ship crash-landed as is typical for the gnomes, and the druids were off on adventures with the hamsters as their animal companions. It was pretty fun.

I’m currently running a game using the pathfinder beta, the material from beyond the moons, and a few house rules. We haven’t really hit on a ship to ship combat system that I’m happy with yet, but we’re working on it.
I personally don’t like spider moon, but some people swear by it.

I'm of the opinion that if you can find and buy Dragonstar books on the cheap, they'll be a great addition to a Spelljammer game.
