Can you counter Spell like abil's?

A simple question that I can't seem to find the answer to. Stupidity, blindness call it what you will.

Can a spell caster counter spell like abilities? Such as a Drow's spell like abilities, or the spell like abilities you can gain from the Archmage PrC (ie. magic missle X times per day) ?

I'm thinking NO, but I can't seem to find it in the books or FAQ.

I don't know if this link will work for you (it should), but you can set up your sig in the control panel, profile settings.

Actually, spell-like abilities cannot be counterspelled nor can they be used to counterspell. Check out the MM and PHB, both state this explicitly. Since I'm at work, I can't provide page numbers yet but if no one else has done so, I'll post 'em later.
