Can you Hide from Scrying?

This is where you "stick it to" your PCs if you are a DM. You set up a situation that looks like one thing for them to scry, but is really another. A bad guy NPC who has two visible bodyguards sitting to his left and right, but six other bodyguards hidden behind him in the darkness. Seeing the visible ones makes the PC less likely to try to find hidden ones. You know, that kind of thing.
Oh, if you really want to make player's life difficult, that's not how you do it.

There's this nifty Core spell: False Vision (Brd 5, Sor/Wiz 5, Trickery 5). Fools scrying, no save, no SR. Wizard scrys the BBEG, and fails (Mind Blank, Will save, whatever). Wizard thinks back to the minion that was usually at the BBEG's side, and scrys him. Successfully. Wizard sees a scene of the minon sleeping next to a magnificient bed, with an indentation in the bed in the shape of BBEG. Wizard studies it carefully, and a little later they Teleport in. To an area the False Vision duplicated, that is actually a prepared trap for exactly the Scry/Buff/Teleport tactic, that's nowhere near where the minion is actually located. Let the Rogue use that Gather Information skill.
