Canadiana Suite 2006 GAME ON!

I can bring Cheese Curds from the Cheese Curd capitol of the United States: Ellsworth, Wi. Let me know if you'd like me to, and how much you need and I'll try and get them in my luggage/carryon and then stop by the Suite. I didn't last year out of lurker shyness, I'd like to try it this year.

Brilliant! What a delightful meeting of (bacterial) cultures! Poutine with midwest cheese!
Please, bring a pounds or two- I'll provide the fries and gravy!

i still have no idea whether the Mrs. or either or both of the kids are coming, and i probably won't know for certain until Aug 10th. ;) but we should be able to swing by at some point... :)

Sorry guys...

Due to a SNAFU with the housing bureau, we will not be at the Embassy Suites, and the room we're at is too small to host anything other than sleeping.

So unless someone feels like hosting them in their room or fronting the dough to rent a conference room somewhere, all Canadiana Suite events are hereby cancelled.

I'm sorry to hear about this. I hope that this doesn't ruin your fun. :)

I'm trying to be optimistic, but right now it's very hard.

Having been exiled into what would appear to be the farthest "walking distance" hotel from the convention centre, smaller rooms, no refrigerator nor microwave, and no complimentary breakfast is throwing a rather large crimp into everyone's plans.

Somehow I have to come up with an additional $20-$50/day to cover breakfast for my family. And having to cancel the Canadiana Suite is heartbreaking. No more just popping over to the hotel room for a quick nap or snack, it's too far away, and I'm not too keen on letting my kids wander around downtown Indy to get to the hotel, either, so their style'll be cramped as well. Really trying to find a silver lining, but not really succeeding.

/me weeps
