Can't find a feat

I vaguely remember a feat that allowed sneak attack die to be changed to a d8 instead of a d6. Does anybody know of this feat and in which sourcebook it appeared?

Yep, that's the one. I at first thought it was overpowered, until I realized it was about the same as +1/die. Definately about the power of a feat I'd say.

I believe there was a special dagger in Relics and Rituals that did the same thing.

It was in a WOTC book also. Maybe Races of Stone? I cannot remember, but as I own no 3rd aprty stuff, I am sure it is in a WOTC source.

There's the one that adds +1/die in Champions of Ruin(Craven, I think).

There's also a non-psionic feat in the XPH that lets you reroll any 1s.

It adds one per character level (regardless of the number of dice), which is even better.

I had looked that one up, after seeing the question, but it doesn't seem to be the one the OP was thinking about.

Funny thing about that feat, it actually gets worse if you combine it with the one that makes your rolls d8s, but it stays just as good with the one that adds +1 to damage/die, even though the other two feats in question have identical benefits on average.

It might be 'Sacred Strike' from the Book of Exalted Deeds; sneak attack does d8s vs evil creatures.
