D&D 5E Cantrip Warrior

Depends on the level. I would probably start muscle-wizard, with a decent Cha. Goal is Blade singer, and later multiclass into Blade-lock and EK. EK for extra melee capabilities, and Bladelock for the Invocations and Pact weapon. Between Pact weapon and Bonded Weapon you will always be armed. Mage armor Invocation might be decent, but Bladesinger will cover you well enough on AC during Bladesong.

You will be MAD as all hell, but it seems like a fun build in my mind. Also, talk with your DM to see if they will allow shield as a Bonded Weapon, then you could choose between Dual wielding (Pact+Bonded weapon), sword and Board (Pact+Bonded Shield), or Great Weapon (Pact). Plenty of flexibility. EK and Blade each give you 2 cantrips, while Wizard gives 3. 7 Total cantrips should cover your top list, as well as a few extra. Unless your list is longer than 7... But that is what higher levels are for. Since the cantrips all scale with character level, you should be able to remain competent despite your multiclassing.

I have a 2nd level warlock right now and was planning to be blade pact. My abilities are 16, 12, 13, 10, 8, 16 with moderately armored feat. It would not be too hard to decide to go with the Pact of Tome if DM agrees to slight redesign. I have to think about that...

High elf (1 cantrip) sorcerer 5 (con saves, 4 cantrips)/arcana cleric 1 (armor, shield, 5 cantrips)/tome pact 5 (6 cantrips, shillelagh, rituals)/lore bard 6 (cutting words, 5 cantrips)/land druid 2 (4 cantrips).
= 25 cantrips, (15 Cha based, 9 Wis, 1 Int).

8 Str, 12+2 Dex, 13 Con, 10+1 Int, 14 Wis, 15 Cha.
Warcaster, +1 Con/Cha. +2 Cha.

Quicken + darkness + devils sight for advantage and shillelagh + booming blade + warcaster gives you plenty of bite with good AC.
Possibly quicken bless. Twin booming blade also works. Fireball or hypnotic pattern if needed. Cutting words provide some support when not OAing.

And 1 more level, somewhere.

How would this interact with polearm master?

In other words, would booming blade work as an OA with warcaster at 10 feet away? That would be interesting. Would GFB work with warcaster as an OA? I am assuming that it would. I also assume that you could not get a bonus attack with polearm master the same round you cast booming or green flame...

They can work with reach weapons if you take the spell sniper feat to double their range from 5' to 10' The best dpr whip builds I could create for fun were around EK and warcaster leveraging gfb and booming and you need the spell sniper feat for the range

Interesting. It would be possible to use a Glaive with polearm master, spell sniper and warcaster to tag someone far away!

Sadly that would not get together until high level without variant human or fighter feats...
