Anyone else familiar with these books?

I've read the first two and just learned that the third volume was published late last year. I really enjoyed the first two and thought they were great for leading to other jumping off points for reading about history.

later,
Ysgarran.

Yes, they are a pretty funny and simple way to brush up your history. Obviously, you aren't looking at serious scholarly study of a specific period or specific people, but a quick and painless overview.

Looking over on the bookshelf, we seem to have 2 History of the Universes, a Cartoon History of the United States and a Cartoon History of Physics. Hmmm.
