Cartoon Network takes a hit on Adult Swim

Getting rid of Adult Swim would suck, but honestly I haven't watched too much of it. I love Sealab but it's on wayyy too early in the morning for me (late). I ocassionally watch "Home Movies", but other than that, I'm not a Oblong's fan.

Now if they'd kick it back two hours on weekends, that'd be great.

I haven't watched Cartoon Network since they stopped running Batman: The Animated Series every afternoon. And unless the bring that back, or put Gargoyles on the air, I'm not going to be watching the network in the future.

I really don't dig anime, nor do I like any of their original cartoons. That's just me though.

Cartoon Network runs perpetually at the house. My parrot loves it so we leave the TV on all day in the living room. He started whistling along with the Ed Edd and Eddy theme and he has learned several words and theme songs from it.

I watch Trigun and Inuyasha on Adult Swim and sometimes catch toonami during the day. Oh and Aqua Teen Hunger Force every Sunday night (go figure). I don't really care about the original cartoons but then I'm not the target audience.

Cartoon Network's Saturday Video Entertainment System block (Saturdays, 7:00 p.m. - 2:00 a.m.) has seen its ratings shoot up thanks in part to the introduction of Jackie Chan Adventures (Saturday, 10 p.m.). Frankly I have always felt cartoon network would be best served by splitting into two channels, one that is complete anime all the time. Not being in a youngster catergory anymore(18-25), my workload precludes me from staying up to 1 am to watch cowboy beebop, hell since I usually awaken at 4 am I generally couldnt watch futurama.

However an all anime all the time channel with a good mixture of different shows,(mecha fantasy and so on), I would deffinetely watch.

Well, there is that other cable channel thats starting up thats going to be all anime all the time. I forget the details though...

My favorites are Aqua Teen Hunger Force (again, go figure) and Harvey Birdman (which seems to be in limbo right now). The Brak Show, Space Ghost, and Sealab all have some good episodes here and there, but I am not a regular for those shows.
