Well, CW prompted me to take a better look at more DCCs.

Picked up recently...
#3 The Mysterious Tower
#5 Aerie of the Crow God
#8 Mysteries of the Drow
#11 The Dragonfiend Pact
#13 Crypt of the Devil Lich (although I had my eye on this one before)
#16 Curse of the Emerald Cobra
#30 Vault of the Dragon Kings

Good Stuff.

It sounds awesome. I don't run 3e anymore since I burned out on the rules load, but I might consider picking it up to convert to C&C. How heavy is it on the 3e stat blocks? If those were excised, would it still be worth $100?

My question as well! :)

Well, all the monsters are stated out, if that's what you're asking. :) If you're comfortable running conversions to C&C though, it is totally worth the cost IMHO, especially since the Trolls keep us waiting for Castle Zagyg.

I did the same thing after picking up CW, though we seem to have gone in opposite directions for the most part:

#4 Bloody Jack's Gold
#7 The Secret of Smuggler's Cove
#10 The Sunless Garden
#11 The Dragonfiend Pact
#20 Shadows in Freeport
#29 The Adventure Begins
#34 Cage of Delerium
#35 Gazetteer of the Known Realms
#39 Ruins of Castle Churo (+ DM Screens)
#46 The Book of Treasure Maps
#51.5 The Sinister Secret of Whiterock

To answer the question on how easy it would be to convert:

There are monsters in it a plenty, it is a giant D&D dungeon crawl. But with a little preparation and with a system that is similar enough like C&C I think it would not be much more work.

Yeah, they're reputable. It's run by James Mathe who used to be in chargeof RPGNow. He has a brick & mortar store that he runs also.

Thanks for the heads-up on the sale! I've been wanting to pick CW and now it's mine.

Anyone else plan on playing using Pathfinder?

I was thinking along these lines. A grand Castle Whiterock PbP using Pathfinder. But I think I'll wait for the Beta release before attempting anything.
