Castle Works -Oh My Word...

First Post
I downloaded this from RPGNow last night (after a struggle because I forgot to turn off the firewall from Win XP SP2...)

The thing is unbelievable, both huge and gorgeous. I am doing a quick wizard's tower with it, then I am going to sit down with it and plan out something ambitious. The thing is almost 80 megs zipped. Took a while on dial-up, but wow.

They even have a movie style trailer for it. http://www.worldworksgames.com/castleworksultimate.html

Heh, after fixing the firewall problem about 3 hours or so, with about as long before that because of a bad case of not remembering the firewall was there...The largest things I ever downloaded was a service pack for Word Perfect 10 that was larger than the original program, and the demo for Arcanum. Thank the gods for Getright. For this I just clicked the link that RPGNow sent me and waited.

From RPGNow it is $15, and well worth it. There is a print version in the works (likely around $40 as a guess), and I almost waited for that, but came over all greedy watching the movie.

*EDIT* The 3 hours is a guess, I went and took a nap while it was going...

The part I like best, at least right now, is the stairs. I want to have a running battle as the party first work thei way up, then battle their way back down again.

Wow that's gotta be the best-designed website I've seen for any product. Those high-quality videos really make all those sets look great! We already wanted all that stuff, now we want it even more!

Can I just say "I Love WorldWorks Games!" Their stuff is great. I just wish it didn't drain my color toner quite so fast. I might try one of those toner refill packs so I don't have to drop $50 every time I print a bunch of stuff out. Of course, I could just be more selective about only printing what I need...

Sweet stuff, I'd be willing to drop money at a Kinkos for high-quality prints on a strong paper type. That'd be cheaper than my dwarvenforge addiction. :p
