I'm going to just re-post what I posted on the Trolls' boards...

IT'S HERE!
After coming home yesterday and being rear-ended in the rain, today's homecoming was much better. I saw a package at the door, and inside was Monsters and Treasure. I'm very very happy to see this.
I've only had a 5 minute look, but thus far, it's great. The monster section feels like the old 1e Monster Manuals. The art throughout was fantastic. I think the only criticisms I have is that I wish every monster had art, and the weretiger is actually a wereleopard. Tigers have stripes, not spots.
The treasure section is great too. I was disappointed that the flame tongue sword wasn't there (there is a flaming sword, though) and I don't recall seeing a sword of the planes. Overall, though, the standard magic items that I remember all seem to be there. I checked out the mechanics too just to see how some of it was done, and what little I looked at seemed to be rock solid.
Overall, I'm very pleased with this product. It's got a good old school vibe going. Plus this is the first time I can recall seeing a book dedicated to both monsters and treasure. The concept of having just this one book instead of a DMG and a monster book is definitely a plus and makes it even more worth my money. Kudos also on the low cost.
Thanks, Trolls! Keep up the great work!
