I forgot to mention that I think Angela Basset (sp?) would have been perfect for the role of Storm.
She would have been good, but I would have gone for a tall model with a strong presense such as Naomi Campbell or Iman.

I second the idea of Iman being Storm. She even has a bit of an exotic accent (part of what I liked about her in the old X-Men cartoon).

My wife and I both thought Iman was the obvious choice for over a decade, but she unfortunately was too old for the part.

It's really a shame, too, because I am POSITIVE she could have nailed the part. Her mannerisms and accent/voice are as perfect a fit as Patrick Stewart's are for Prof X.

Hmmm, going by the incredible costume she is almost wearing I think that the movie can best be described as 'What is brown and sounds like a bell...'

I usually don't wish bad things on people, but they are asking for it. I mean, come on, I am lost for words on how confused I am about this. Part of me is saying "Why do studios think that they know what comic book fans want to see?" and the other half of me is saying "What were smoking when you thought of this and said, Let's Do It."

Sharon Stone? Hello? Buellar? Who is rushing out to see her?

Cat Woman? Halle Berry? Again HELLO!! There are so many other comic book heroes to choose from. How about something relevant? I didn't know that Cat Woman Comics were so popular.

"Hit and Run Halle." We all know this won't be another "Hit".

ok, i'm done.
