Seriously; we've got three boys but only one girl. I've got a soft spot in my heart for little girls. She gets away with a lot with Daddy, I'm afraid.

They are so cute! My cat Fred just passed away on the 9th. He was 17, and led a happy life.

that's good to hear. (not that he died, but that his life was long and happy.) my cat Old Mrs. Riley passed away a few months back. she was 21. we joked that she was finally old enough to drink!

if i was near you, orbitalfreak, i'd be wondering if you were planning on giving any of 'em away. luckily i'm not, because i already have two cats of my own to take care of (sisters, adopted them when they were around 2 years old).

Good for you! I worked with someone who helped abandoned kittens for PAWS. This included feeding kittens with a kitty bottle. I hope you find good homes for them besides the one they're currently in.

My cat just turned 13 this Sunday (he's black too...must be his year to shine!).

We're thinking they're about two months old. They're old enough to eat a little hard food, so they'll be making the transition to that, probably this week. We might give them some more canned food first, though, just in cast they're not quite ready...

Kitten crunchies (friskies are good) in a little bit of milk, nuke for ~5 seconds.

Softens the crunchies, but they don't get too hot, and the kids love the milk flavor.

All five of us are big softies at heart, decide that we can't leave the poor things in the middle of the road, so we get out to catch them.

Those are awfully big kittens. How old do you estimate they are?

I don't know how old they'd be, but I can tell you that they are all a real good eatin' size! MMMMmmmmmmm!
