CB's City of the Spider Queen v3.5

Zarra stands up and says "Is there not somewhere better suited that we can speak about all of this, than among these dead and dying?"

Hael dismisses concerns about the dead and dying, it is obvious to the dark dwarven viewpoint that such things are of no consideration when matters of business are at hand. "Offer terms and mission goals are important." turning back to Alex "So you are saying no reward without complete proof that every individual member of the House down to the least slave is dead. She's not offering payment for anything besides proof of the complete extermination of the House. Proof that some were enslaved or fled or whatnot will not be rewarded at all."

To Zarra she says, "Should we get out of here and see if we can get some independent information before morning?"

"Yeah, I think that we should go somewhere else and discuss everything. Besides we have a trip to get supplies for."

"Dwarf, I think we all understand how Mistress Morcane does business" Prixo says, glancing at the bodies "and what to expect when we ask for our reward for a job completed.

Alex, you look tired. Perhaps you should start your daily sleep so that we can leave on time.

Now, I want to head down to the bazaar to see if there are any recent arrivals and do a little shopping. Who's with me?"

K'yorl crosses her arms and says nothing - a drowess does not accompany a male anywhere - but she intends to go to the bazaar in any case. If others are going as well, that is no concern of hers. They are free to attend her.

Glancing meaningfully at the heap of dead, Lyssa adds, "Yeah, I think I would prefer to bring all my own food and water on this trip."

In a quiet laugh to Lyssa's reply, "Certainly." Zarra then looks at all and then directly at Alex and says "You will find that Alex has been decieved in some of what he says; however, the journey will be quite long and will be very dangerous. I therefore recommend that everyone make the bulk of their purchases now and get the rest that they need." She then turns and begins to head for the exit, turning her head only to say "I can explain more to anyone who wishes to follow."

(Diplomacy +9, to not appear rude, but to interest them all in finding out more of truth and the like)

Blite listens to Zarra and, thinking she sounds like she knows what she's talking about turns to follow. "I'll come," he says, being sure not to walk too fast for them.

Lyssa Gloaming

Lyssa drifts up and back before following Zarra out, so as to get a better look at the other survivors of the Ambermead massacre.
