OOC: Cyril isn't planning on getting out of the car. If anything, he'll apply the accelerator to push the Hummer further out of alignment to the tracks if he can.

P.S. We are terribad at this, LOL

Combat Round 2

Initiative:
Otter 23
Cyril 18
J.R. 17
T-dawg 15
Feral 8
Hummer H3 1

Death Otter burst into hysterical giggles. "Oh my god," she laughed. "This kicks ass!" She quickly darted behind their SHO and ducked down, not wanting to be caught by any stray shots. From her vantage point, she looked back at the train tracks, trying to see if the train was coming any time soon.[sblock=Otter]Perception 1d20+1 = 10. Nope. No train coming that she can see or hear. There is, however, a bend in the tracks to the south of East Michigan Street that prevents a straight-line view. Moving behind the SHO, and attempting to Perceive the train is all the action Otter can take this round.[/sblock]

Cyril smirked, and mashed the accelerator pedal of the SHO a hair further toward the floor. The sedan's tires smoked as the engine's torque built. The large Hummer was little match for the power of the SHO; the SHO pushed forward, nudging the Hummer back and to the side another three feet. The acrid smell of burnt rubber and asbestos filled the air.

J.R. reached into the SHO's trunk, grabbed the tire iron, and swung it at the passenger-side window of the Hummer. The tire iron bounced off the window without cracking through the glass. J.R.'s arm reverberated with the jolt. The man with the firearm in the front passenger seat looked over at J.R. and shook his head "no," frowning. Mr. Passenger said something, flicking his eyes at the driver. And then everyone in the Hummer stared at J.R.. It seemed he had the occupants' full and complete attention. [sblock=J.R.]Strength 1d20+0 = 3. The tire iron failed to break the window. :( [/sblock]

T-dawg stared in disbelief as J.R. smashed the tire iron against the Hummer's passenger window, and Feral clung to the back of the SUV. With a disappointed shake of his head, T-dawg moved over to the driver's side of the Hummer and attempted to throw open the door, but the door was locked and--despite his hard yank--wouldn't budge.

Feral had absolutely no idea why they were trying to stop this Hummer. He didn't particularly care. His hopes and dreams were still drowning in a sea of red tape and he felt like he did when he first started fighting for money - like the adrenaline rush was the only thing keeping him going. It was reckless, maybe even stupid, but he didn't care. He climbed to the roof of the Hummer, staying on the driver's side, and made his way to the hood, intent on obscuring the driver's view of the road with his own body.

The Hummer's occupants left off staring at J.R. Their heads whipped in tandem first to T-dawg as the large African American man tried to rip open the driver's-side door, and then to Feral, who monkeyed across the roof (again), and down onto the hood, waving his arms. The passenger on the driver's side in the rear seat barked something indistinguishable, and then the driver clicked open the lock on his door and got out of the vehicle. He wore a grey suit with a white button-down shirt, and a black tie. He wasn't armed. He closed the vehicle's door and eyed T-dawg. "That your vehicle?" he asked, slowly, quirking his head at the SHO.

OOC: End of Round 2. Everyone is up, please post at will and I will resolve actions in Initiative order. Both the SHO and the Hummer have sustained front-end damage, but both vehicle could probably be driven away from the scene. The Hummer is now well away from the train tracks.

Feral sits cross legged on the hood of the Hummer, a big **&^ eating grin on his face that didn't reach his eyes as he stared at the guy with the gun, daring him to try something.

Cyril took his foot off the gas and threw the SHO into reverse. Checking behind him, he backed up briefly before orienting the car lengthwise in front of the hummer, attempting to block any forward progress. What the F*&^ is going on here? They seem pretty calm considering it looked like we were trying to kill them.

T-dawg is momentarily taken back by Suit & Tie's calmness, but then simply responds "Mine? Nah, I just hitched a ride here in it". He thinks for a second, then adds, "Sorry 'bout my friends - been drinkin' too many Monsters. Once the train is gone, you can go on your way. No harm, no foul". A moment later, still clearly uncomfortable with the awkward situation, he holds out a hand in a half-apologetic gesture of friendship, and introduces himself, "I'm T-dawg".

OOC: While we wait for Shayuri to update, I thought I'd better clarify. J.R. took a swing at the Hummer window with the tire iron. Cyril is still inside the SHO. I don't think Cyril can hear what you posted for J.R. But Otter, Feral, or T-dawg could.

OOC: Go for it! At this point, we already have rock throwing, tire iron aggression, a yanked-on Hummer door handle, and Feral. What's the worst that could happen?
