CB's Grim Frequencies IC -- COMPLETE

(OOC - Apologies. I completely forgot D0 does not have a laptop in the car. Let us pretend that her player is more on the ball and just...steamroll right on by that. :))

Death Otter shrugs at Cyrill and indicates JR with a wag of her head.

"Don't look now, but I think there's a convict knocking on our window," she says in a tiny, frightened voice.

"Anyway..." She opens the door and slips out, making just enough space by pushing the door up against JR. "...scuse me. You boys have fun. But not too much fun. It's Indiana."

Chortling, she went around behind the Hummer to jot its license plate number down.

Rubberneck, you're up. If you are unable to post, no worries, I'll NPC J.R. until your return and will forward the thread Saturday morning.

J.R. looks inside and addresses Cyril,

"Any word from da jagoffs on da Bluetooth earpiece? Wah are we doone here?"

J.R. seems a bit agitated at the lack of information and is constantly looking at the damage to the SHO which isn't helping his nerves.

Round 6, Resolved

Initiative:
Otter 23
Cyril 18
J.R. 17
T-dawg 15
Feral 8
Hummer H3 1

Death Otter shrugged at Cyril, and indicated JR with a wag of her head. "Don't look now, but I think there's a convict knocking on our window," she said in a tiny, frightened voice. "Anyway..." she opened the door and slipped out, making just enough space by pushing the door up against JR. "...'scuse me. You boys have fun. But not too much fun. It's Indiana." Chortling, she went around behind the Hummer to jot its license plate number down. 999 AAA, the plate read. It had a Marion county emblem in the bottom middle of the plate. And from the look of the "15" sticker in the upper right corner, the registration was current.

Noticing the door was opened, Cyril snapped out of his reverie and looked across the passenger seat. "What's up?" J.R. looked inside the SHO and addressed Cyril, "Any word from da jagoffs on da Bluetooth earpiece? Wah are we doone here?" J.R. seems a bit agitated at the lack of information and was constantly looking at the damage to the front end of the SHO.

Back outside by the Hummer, as Freddie walked away, T-dawg suddenly realized that one of the lanes wasn't entirely blocked. With the rail crossing barriers down, the cars zipping across the tracks were in danger. Since Freddie was distracted, T-dawg ran over to the unblocked lane, and threw his arms out to either side, trying to use his bulk to prevent cars from crossing the tracks.

Feral, who was still perched atop the Hummer's hood, started quoting Reservoir Dogs to himself while smiling at the people in the Hummer. Mr. Passenger--in the front seat--was eyeballing Feral and fidgeting in his seat. Inside the Hummer, Mr. Pinky said something to Freddie, then scowled. Jerking his head in T-dawg's direction and gesturing at the SHO blocking the Hummer's path, Mr. Pinky's voice rose to an audible level. Otter, T-dawg, and Feral heard Mr. Pinky boom in a baritone heavily Russian-accented English, "DA! I vant dat! Get zem ze f- out of ze way. NOW." Mr. Passenger opened his door and started exiting the Hummer.

All three men inside the Hummer and Freddie froze momentarily as a loud train horn blasted very close at hand. Everyone heard it, including all five of you.

OOC: End of Round 6. Everyone is up. Feral may take his readied action now, if you like Kiraya. I will adjudicate that before I deal with Round 7. I need a Perception DC 10 check from Otter, T-dawg, and Feral.

J.R. doesn't want to appear hostile but moves into position and readies himself,

"Now fellas this isn't necessary. We're jest trying to help yinz aht."

T-Dawg continues blocking the remaining lane, preventing cars from trying to cross the tracks, however he keeps a wary on on developments around the SHO and Hummer.
OOC: I assume it's no action to stand blocking the lane, so as his action he'll ready a charge/bull rush on anyone who attempts to hurt his companions, or any other innocent bystander.
Perception: [roll0]
