OOC: I've updated T-dawg in the RG to remove 2 APs - one for the grapple, and a second to negate the fatigued penalty from Action Surge.
Note - I intentionally didn't take Combat Martial Arts (despite wanting to) as a RP choice - didn't really seem appropriate for him to know any kind of martial arts at present. He's definitely a rough and tumble brawler.

Still holding on to the boy tightly, and attempting to drag him through the window, T-dawg slowly turns to the girl and gives her a stern glance, "That ain't gonna happen lady. How 'bout you put that gun down before someone gets hurt. Then we can sort this out". His tone leaves no doubt that it isn't himself he is worried about getting hurt.

OOC: Again, pre-emptively spending the AP, but given the roll of 18 without one, he'll not spend it after all. Let me know if you have a problem with me pre-emptively spending them like this and I'll revert to doing it separately.

OOC: I'm fine with you spending the APs either pre-emptively or after you roll. Forged Fury, give me a Stealth check, please. I don't know that Cyril is necessarily trying to be sneaky (maybe he's not?), but I want some kind of an opposed roll against Girlie's power of observation.

Cyril padded toward the fellowship hall. When he got to the door from the hallway to the fellowship hall, he spotted a scrawny young girl (if the greasy hair in a ponytail was anything to judge by) standing in the archway from the fellowship hall to the kitchen. She had a gun leveled at someone in the kitchen. Cyril next heard T-dawg speak, telling the girl to put the gun down.

The girl shook her head no. "No way, mister. Let him go, or I'll put some lead in your kneecap." She trained the Derringer on T-dawg's leg for emphasis, but the effect was spoiled by her shaky voice. T-dawg saw needle track marks up the side of her neck. He shored up his hold on the boy outside the window, who continued to struggle and hollered, "Christ, Esmeralda, put the gun down!" T-dawg started hauling the boy up through the window. He got the kid's arm, head, and torso through the window, but the rest of the boy hung outside.

Girlie's [roll0] to hear Cyril 20' behind her (on an angle).

OOC: I think everyone tends to be a little sneaky when getting woken up by an odd noise in the middle of the night. Even Cyril.

Stealth = [roll0]

Cyril stood in the doorway, and, to his surprise, the girl wielding the gun at T-dawg appeared not to notice him. Then again, her back was to him. Cyril could make out part of T-dawg's body--the man had hold of a scraggly looking teenage boy who was half in half out the open window. The boy was yanking and wriggling against T-dawg's meaty grasp, to little avail.

Instinctively growling in response, "You can try, but it'll be the worst mistake of your life...", T-dawg then realises that these kids were once like him, and his voice softens as he realises they aren't really a threat, "Look Esmeralda, you've made a mistake, let's not make it any worse. None of us want trouble, so how 'bout you just put that gun down, you and your friend come inside, I'll cook up something and we can settle this right. Looks like you haven't eaten in a while".
OOC: AP spent and removed from character sheet

OOC: Thanks. I swear I'm not color blind, but I missed the blue hue of the link because it was inset in green font. Well, more accurately, I noticed it but didn't put two and two together that it was a link to a die roll. I thought it was a typo.

Esmeralda frowned. Her eyes darted to the boy dangling half through the window, then flashed back to T-dawg. The gun lowered a hair, but not all the way to the down position; if Esmeralda were to accidentally pull the trigger, from the new angle she'd probably hit the kitchen cabinet and not T-dawg's leg. Her eyes watered. "Tommy?" She appealed to the boy, who looked uncertain for a moment then nodded his head. The girl lowered the gun all the way, but she didn't otherwise move. "Put him down, Mister."

T-dawg loosens his grip on Tommy, "You can come in through the same door as Esmeralda", he tells the boy, then turning back to Esmeralda asks "So, what are you hungry for?", as he moves towards the kitchen cupboards.
