D&D 5E CB's Stonefast IC -- COMPLETE

Orc3 didn't even try to dodge Spec's sacred flame and was hit full on for 6 points of damage.

OOC: Next up is Roscoe, [MENTION=24609]Strahd_Von_Zarovich[/MENTION]! The map remains the same (see above).

OOC: for some reason the map wont load on my browser, so adjust below if required.

Colden barges past his companions and runs to the closest Orc attacking it.

[sblock=mechanics]

[roll0]
[roll1]

His reaction will be to Riposte if attacked and missed by the orcs.

[roll2]
[roll3] << bonus damage for risposte included.

[/sblock]

OOC: It'll cost Colden double movement to move through Spec, Roscoe, and Guran, and Colden would wind up in Guran's square if he did so. Colden could Dash as his action, or he could use Inspiration or Action Surge to gain additional movement and be able to attack in Round 1. It may be that the map I posted won't load because I made it too large. I think you haven't had trouble viewing the others I've thrown up, so I'll re-post the map in two different sizes and maybe one of those will prove viewable. [MENTION=6787159]Skarsgard[/MENTION], please have a look at the map (both are the same, one is just a different size) and re-state Colden's actions for the round. Also, here's the link directly to the tinypic image: http://tinypic.com/r/v3dj6s/9

[sblock=A NOTE ON HIT POINTS]After the ice storm and short rest, this is where I have everyone for hit points:
Guran 31/31
Fulgrim 28/30, Arcane Ward 4/11
Spec 21/23
Colden 10/41 (suffered -31 points of damage from the ice storm, but could still declare hit dice expenditure from the short rest...let me know...and note this sum doesn't include the 11 points he just took from Orc4)
Roscoe ?/41 (I'm not sure whether Roscoe was injured when the ice storm struck, but he suffered -15 points of damage from the ice storm, and then spent two hit dice to regain 16 hp...let me know what his current hp tally is, please)[/sblock]

OOC: I had Colden move to R43. This'll free up the square behind him for another character. Colden didn't incur an OA for doing so (though, admittedly, it does put him within reach of the spider. Please make sure you update Colden's hit points, [MENTION=6787159]Skarsgard[/MENTION]...much will depend on whether Colden burned hit dice during the most recent short rest. [MENTION=95059]Forged Fury[/MENTION], Fulgrim's up to bat!

Colden surged forward into the room and used his handaxe to chop at Orc1, dealing 14 points of damage, and killing the orc. Finding the way unimpeded, Colden took another step further into the room and stood, straddling the dead body of Orc2. As he did, he became aware of two additional creatures lurking in the northwest and southwest corners. The first was a dark-skinned elf in a chain shirt wielding a longsword. The elf stood in the northwest corner. The second was a creature unlike any Colden had ever seen before...it was roughly the size of a man, but was shaped like an orb, and had four tentacles with eyes on the ends. And it floated, hovering, perhaps some two feet off the ground. Colden discerned no limbs.

Orc4 took a step backward, away from Colden. It stood near the last remaining orc in the room (Orc3). With an ear-splitting growling yowl, Orc4 swung its greataxe at Colden. The blow connected and was grisly--cleaving through the vambrace of Colden's armor and dealing 11 points of damage. The yellow-eyed orc grunted in satisfaction and licked its lips, its eyes on the raw meat of Colden's exposed sinewed forearm. Colden felt very woozy.

Orc3 swung its greataxe at the spider, hitting and dealing 15 points of damage. The blow from the greataxe nearly cleaved the spider's carapace in twain, causing the creatures rear legs to move at odds with its two forelegs, but the spider must have been made of stern stuff because it wasn't dead yet.

The dark-skinned elf in the northwest corner paused, waiting to see whether Colden would topple. A cruel smirk lifted the corner of its mouth.

OOC: I think I was at full HP since after the Spider attcake me and bit me Spec healed Roscoe

Blood boiled (Entering Rage) in Roscoe's veins and a shout of anger echoed in the area. He ventured forward and took position between the green eyed orb and the Orc (R42). He will attack the floating Orb and will leave the Orc for Colden to deal with. (Reckless attack) But the Thing awfulness was too much for the Halfling to bear and he missed.

Reckless attack and damage: 2#1d20+5 11 10 1d6+3 8

Fulgrim moved to get a better line of sight on the room and slid his warhammer into his belt, he was going to need his hands. Seeing Colden in possible danger, he cast a spell. "By Dumathoin's earthen hand, feel some pain!" The dwarf mage picked an open spot on the floor and a hand made of earth rose from it and reached out to grasp one of the adjacent orcs.

OOC: Item Interaction: Stow warhammer
Move: M43
Action: Cast Earthen Grasp on point S43, the hand will attempt to grasp Orc3, as that is the only orc I believe Fulgrim can see. The orc needs to make a DC 13 Strength Saving Throw or take [roll0] damage and be restrained.
