Colden smiles grimly as he draws another handaxe and launches it against the unwounded bodyguard.

As Firebolts, flying handaxes and sacred flames dance around him from his comrades, the Halfling Barbarian eyes the second bodyguard and shouts maniacally while sending his short sword into the abdomen of the Orc.

Reckless attack. Damage (1d20+4, 1d6+5=[18, 4], [5, 5], 1d20+4 [14, 4]) - Hit (18 and 14) - Damage 10.

OOC: Reckless Attack - When you make your first attack on your turn, you can decide to attack recklessly. Doing so gives you advantage on melee weapon attack rolls using Strength during this turn, but attack rolls against you have advantage until your next turn. Rage (2/3 Rages, +2 damage) - resistance to all damage except psychic damage.

Conscious of the onslaught of foes, Father Spec draws down sacred flames once more, as he speaks again the mystic phrase, "Genetheo phos." The burly Orc Bodyguard 1 tried to duck, but Spec's holy fire caught it, once again blistering the orc's skin, dealing 1 point of damage. The creature burst into flame and toppled to the stone floor of the room, dead or dying.


Colden smiled grimly at the gore unfolding inside the room. He drew another handaxe and launched it at the unwounded Orc Bodyguard 2. This creature was craftier than it looked; it ably dodged Colden's handaxe, letting the weapon fall untouched to the floor.


Orc Bodyguard 2 eyed Colden and Spec, then swung at Roscoe. The Halfling was small, true, but it was the closest target within reach. The orc swiped with its falchion, hitting Roscoe for 2 points of damage. Roscoe felt the hit; he could tell his totem spirit had afforded him protection. Must have been the rage-induced thickened hide or perhaps the fine pelt of hair he seemed to be sprouting.


Smelly Dumb Orc's eyes widened in confusion. It looked at Spec, who stood just beyond the open doorway, speaking strange incantations and raining down holy fire, and the fearsome Colden, who thus far had flung at least two axes that had whizzed overhead with alarming speed, and scampered toward the southwestern corner.

OOC: Smelly Dumb Orc disengages.

As firebolts, flying handaxes, and sacred flames danced around from the hands of his comrades, the Halfling Barbarian eyed Orc Bodyguard 2 and shouted maniacally while sending his short sword into the abdomen of the foe. The weapon slice through leather jerkin and flesh, dealing 10 points of damage.


Fulgrim slipped into the room, intent on bashing or blasting anything still standing. Smelly Dumb Orc cowering in the near corner just to Fulgrim's left got Fulgrim's attention. He raised and swung his warhammer at the cowardly beast, but the orc grimaced and shrunk even further against the wall. Fulgrim missed.

OOC: Everyone has gone this round except for Guran. [MENTION=61026]tuxgeo[/MENTION], please state what you wish Guran to do for Round 2.

Guran watches, almost dumbfounded, as the smelly orc disengages while dying. Guran whispers a quiet prayer to Moradin for protection, then advances toward the crafty bodyguard who just attacked Roscoe. Guran gets as close as he can, figuring the large weapon can't swing to cover him too quickly, and attacks Bodyguard 2 using his short sword:

Guran whispered a quiet prayer to Moradin for protection, then advanced toward the crafty bodyguard who just attacked Roscoe. Guran got as close as he could, figuring the large weapon couldn't swing to cover him too quickly, and attacked Bodyguard 2 using his short sword. Guran sliced at Orc Bodyguard 2 but missed.

OOC: My apology. I typed "Smelly" when my intent was to indicate "Dumb Orc." I've edited my post to reflect that Dumb Orc disengaged and is cowering. Smelly Orc remains dead.

OOC: Start of Round 3. Everyone is up. Please post for your character and I will resolve actions in initiative order. To clarify, we are down to two orcs remaining. Orc Bodyguard 2 faces Roscoe and Guran (who will get sneak attack due to the room's size and Guran's proximity to Roscoe). Dumb Orc is on the other side of the room, faced by Fulgrim, and weaponless.
