CE vs. N (FFA): Very Young Howling Dragon vs. Thunder Worm

OOC Wow that sure is a smart horse to move up and ready an attack rather than just move up. ;) I have my MotP at home, so unless someone else gets to it earlier, I'll see it tonight.

OOC I figured the horse does not like combat, so it will not rush headlong into it, but if something came at it, it would defend itself to the best of its ability. Also, I figured, if the horse is smart enough to cart around the beer rather than drink it, it can't be too dumb.

A large creature, resembling not so much an ogre as a piece of trash-ridden demon crap, moves quickly into the arena to 55N55E. In bellows loudly in no particular language nothing really of consequence*. Although it wears some diseased-looking hide armor, the armor does not appear to offer any protection whatsoever, and yet hinders Olaf the Ogre Petitioner's movement.

* Translated for the viewers in the Shearing Pen, this causes the CN crowd to give a raucous cheer. He demands, "Hey, give me a beer."

The horse takes a 5-foot step to 55N65E and stamps down with both hooves, connecting with both (rolled 13, 14) for 9 points of damage. Olaf is at 8 HP, and goes first in round 115.

"How many ogres does it take to open a beer?"

Olaf slams the horse until one or the other is dead.

"None. It should be open by the time she brings it."

Round 115: Olaf hits critically for 16. The horse is at 3 HP. The horse misses twice.
Round 116: Olaf hits for 11. The horse is at -8 and dying.

Round 117: A gray swirling mist moves along the ground to 60N80E.

The mist charges to 60N65E. Olaf hits easily with the AoO for 9 points of damage, but the wound fades away in the mist!

The mist slams Olaf with a pseudopod for 4 points of damage. Olaf has 4 hp left, his Str drops to 16, and he falls asleep! (Rolled 10 Will save)

Round 118: The mist CDG's for 6! Olaf is defeated!

Next up for CE: a raiment. (Libris Mortis) It goes next in round 118.

OOC: I thought petitioners were immune to mind effects? Maybe not, but I don't have the book with me to double check. Btw, anyone else with Libris Mortis, jump in, as I will not be able to get to it till tonight.
