CE vs. N (FFA): Very Young Howling Dragon vs. Thunder Worm

A tiny, green demon with batlike wings, a sharp, pointy tail, and beady red-glowing eyes flies quickly into the arena to 60N30E20Z and then becomes invisible. He utters a few choice, vile epithets in abyssal, the likes of which cannot be reiterated in a family-oriented arena and are censored by the universal translators.

In abyssal, Trix screams, "How the @#*! do you dare resist my @#*! spell, you lousy piece of @#*!"

Although irritated, he's still smart enough to become invisible and then move down into the lizard's square. Next round he will make a full attack.

OOC: What is Trix's knowledge skill? If he knows something about this creature other than what he just observed, he might change his action. Specifically, if the lizard is resistant to poison, Trix might consider not attacking in his normal form.

OOC: Trix's knowledge skill is Knowledge (the planes). That does not help here.

Round 173: The lizard looks ready to claw Trix when Trix shows himself.

Duh. Sorry about that.

Round 173: Trix has one claw (12+2=14 for invisible attacker) bounce off the lizard's hide, but the other claw hits (rolled 14+2=16 for IA). The bite also digs into flesh (rolled 22+2=24). Total damage is 2, but the lizard succombs to the poison (rolled 11 Fort save), taking 1 point of Dexterity damage. Its has 24 HP remaining and Dex 18.

The lizard attacks back, only hitting with one claw for 6-5=1 point of damage. Trix has 12 HP remaining, and laughs at the poisoned claw. Trix is first in round 174, and heals to full HP in that round.
