CE vs. N (FFA): Very Young Howling Dragon vs. Thunder Worm

"Astral coward!" the Chaotic Evil spectators hiss.

A draw is declared after round 354.

First in round 355 for Chaotic Evil is a salamander, flamebrother (Monster Manual). It looks like Chaotic Evil is going to turn up the heat in the arena.

As Herb exits the arena to the jeers of the CE crowd, he comments, "Yeah, well, I didn't see ANY of you go up against that spider." The crowds quickly quiet down and an orc actually hands Herb a beer.

Flamin' Sal slithers into the sandy arena, spear clutched snugly in his snaky grasp. He readies his spear against a possible charge from the east, waiting at 60N15E.

Round 355: A thick-bodied reptile with eight legs stumps into the arena to 60N80E. It has rows of bony spines protruding from its back, and its eyes glow with a pale green light. Flamin' Sal is first in round 356.

Round 356: Ol' Green Eye stumps to 60N65E and gives Flamin' Sal a baleful look, which has no effect (rolled 19 Fort save), except perhaps to send a shiver down Sal's spine.

Flamin' Sal shakes off the bad feeling, averts his eyes, and charges the lazy lizard, spear held high. Assuming he survives the charge attack, he'll close his eyes and then full attack until one or the other is dead. If Sal is brought down to 5hp or misses for 4 consecutive rounds, he'll open his eyes again, though keep them averted.

Flamin' Sal does a terrible job of averting his eyes (rolled 98%), and pays the price, turning into stone (rolled 10 Fort save).

Next in round 356 for Chaotic Evil is a ghast (Monster Manual). This is appropriate because Flamin' Sal suffered a ghastly fate. Ol' Green Eye is still at 60N65E.

OOC: Does the statue remain?

A foul, humanoid looking creature enters the battlefield. It's stench exudes to the spectators even outside the arena, and those watching on monitors at home with SmelliVision. The creature, once human perhaps, has a grayish pall to its twisted, decayed skin and old, rotted clothes. Wait! The clothes look somewhat familiar. Could it be? Yes, I see a tinge of aquamarine and orange and with a faint number 34 on it. It's Ricky Williams! He's come back! Ricky runs not quite like the Ricky of old, moving less agilely into 60N55E.

I am not sure Ricky is allowed back in the arena. We might have to ask Gansk, but I believe Psybo has suspended Ricky from his first four battles in the arena. I will continue anyway just in case I am mistaken.

Round 357: Ol' Green Eye looks at Ricky, who is immune to the gaze, although Ol' Green Eye does not know that. Ol' Green Eye backs up to 60N85E.
