CE vs. N (FFA): Very Young Howling Dragon vs. Thunder Worm

The yuan-ti is one of those non-OGC creatures. :)

Okay, instead of produce acid, she'll ready to manifest aversion (self) at Birdie when it comes within range.

Round 636

Birdie flies to 75N25E20Z, NW, and hits Paula (27 ranged touch) with a ray, dealing 22 points of sonic damage. Paula has 16 HP remaining. Birdie is currently out of range of aversion.

Paula hits Birdie with the gob (27 ranged touch). Birdie is not happy about that. Birdie is usually the one dropping sticky gobs.

Round 637

Birdie drops down and arcs to 65N10E10Z. Along the way, Birdie bites Paula (rolled 34-2+1=33) for 19 points of damage. Paula is defeated, but she succeeded in slowing down Birdie for a while.

Next in round 637 for Chaotic Evil is a feral yowler (Monster Manual III).

OOC: I dunno birdie's maneuverability, but consider that for less than Good, Birdie must maintain half-speed and can only move half-speed, so there are (arguably) some restrictions, such as requiring movement to be in a straight line or requiring two move actions to maintain half speed. Birdie could, of course land.

Movement does not have to be in a straight line, as long as he maintains half forward speed. It does not cost movement to turn, unless the turning is in place, which Birdie's turns were not.

Oh, man, that's a big difference I didn't realize before. Poor/Clumsy actually can't turn in place. In fact, I guess the only reason to ever turn in place is a really tight turn, right?

A big cat with dark gray, splotchy fur and blank white eyes charges into the arena, leaping into the air to bite Birdie. A shimmering follows the feral cat, making his true location difficult to discern, but not hiding the numerous open sores all over the dirty fur. Ferris enters the arena at, say, 40n, charging at angle and leaping (likely easily) into the air to bite, hopefully before he gets bitten himself.

The ugly cat does not jump so well, only getting 4 feet off the ground (rolled 18 Jump check). On its approach, Birdie bites it (rolled 29-2+1=28) for 14 points of damage. Birdie grabs the cat in its mouth (35 vs. 23 grapple). The cat has 80 HP remaining. The cat has no luck trying to bite Birdie (rolled 16-4=12).

Round 638

Birdie flings the cat out of the arena, and continues flying to 35N10E10Z.

Next in round 638 for Chaotic Evil is a tarterian dragon wyrmling (Draconomicon).

It has the maxed-out skills Escape Artist, Intimidate, Knowledge (architecture, nobility), Listen, Search, Spot, and Use Magic Device.

It has the feats Blind-Fight, Cleave, and Power Attack.
