Well, according to the BoED, the Tome Archons are basically another name for the Celestial Hebdomad of Celestia.

When (and if) you convert the already-converted-to-3.0 PS monsters to 3.5, I sugguest you change some of their types to take into account that not all extraplanar creatures are Outsiders. A few, having evolved from earthly animals, might be suited to Magical Beasts or just animals with the Extraplanar subtype, like the leomarh. The fhorge from the Fiend Folio is a good example, so there's some precedence for this.
