Nova strides into the arena. She looks like a well muscled elf woman, but with blue-green skin and green hair. She is wearing little but appropriately placed sea shells, on strings of pearls. Nova carries a trident and a net.
She concentrates and multiplies. Now surrounded by her own reflections she cocks her head quizzically at the snakeything - "hello?"

OOC: moves to 90n20e cast mirror image. CR 5 really? this 2ed conversion looks overpowered.
Im not even going to explore the possibilties on an outsider with the alter self abiility, yet.

The snake charges to 70N30E and attacks an image. It bites and the image disappears.

Nova steps backward and begins chanting in a low sonerous voice.

The snake steps to 75N25E and bites Nova! (Rolled 22, randomly picked Nova over images)

17-10 = 7 points of damage! Nova has 25 hp left and loses concentration on the spell! (Rolled 14 concentration check)

Nova resists the snake's poison (rolled 16 Fort save), but is pulled into the snake's coils! (Rolled 26 vs. 12 grapple check)

Round 291: The snake squeezes and bites. (Rolled 27 vs. 21 Grp check) Nova takes a total of 28-10 = 18 points of damage. She has 7 hp left and resists the poison.

Nova fails to escape! (Rolled 16 vs. 40)

Round 292: The snake squeezes and bites again. (Rolled 37 vs. 29 Grp check) Nova takes a total of 24-10 = 14 points of damage. She takes 3 Con damage from the poison and dies.

Next up for CG: a djinni (genie). (MM) It goes next in round 292.

The snake moves to 65N15E and looks up.

Jim carefully considers his options carefully. Then he carefuly and rationally begins creating wine above the snakes head, hoping to drown the snake.
