The tactics of this character are mainly for him to help the fighter defend the rest of the party and keep everyone high on hitpoints by soaking damage and healing it. When it comes to big bads or casters, he teams up with the fighter, uses Divine Challenge on the big bad, and then eyebites so that the big bad either has to hit the fighter and take damage and a negative to attack or take the -5 to attack from the Paladin being totally concealed. The other abilities are simply gravy.

The general idea is he's sort-of a cheeky unaligned Paladin of Ioun who Challenges enemies to a game of "Catch me if you can!". He learns the mysteries of the Fey because of Ioun's command to learn, and he follows Ioun's tenets with a straightforward ideal of always telling the truth and always speaking forthrightly (to explain why such a unintelligent character would follow the God of Reason, since Ioun is also the God of Truth). He isn't strong, but he makes up for it with sheer willpower and determination (high cha, will, con) and staying power.

So yeah. What do you think? Comments? Changes to be made? Questions?

Fearsome overlaps with Enfeebling a bit too much for my taste. Instead, I would take Shielding Smite.

At least that is what I did for my tiefling paladin who also works off Charisma, instead of strength.

I plan to multi-class him into cleric though, maybe.

Paladins multi into Clerics oddly, since the feat gives them a skill the already have. I'd ask your GM if you can pick another skill on the Cleric's list if I were you. But it's probably still worth it. It's hard to beat 'Radiant Servant' as a Paladin pp.

Do dilattante and the warlock multiclass feat let you use eyebite twice an encounter?
I'd assume so. I don't see why not.

On the subject of Warlock multiclassing, I'm doing it as an experiment. However, if I could find a way to actually make the Warlock Prestige classes not be gimped, I'd totally be on that.

Yeah. I have considered it. It's just a small off-beat thing that we will play once in a while, mostly to allow me to be player instead of DM (Been a player once during last 14 years), so I don't foresee it will be a problem picking another skill instead of religion.

Cheers

Considering that a Wizard can't memorize the same spell twice, I'd say no.

That said, I haven't found a specific reason as to why not.
Well, it's an at-will that you can get to use twice in an encounter due to two different abilities, it's not the same thing as doubling up true encounter or daily powers. The ability of wizards to choose from multiple daily powers has nothing to do with it.

So yes, that should be just fine.

I have a similar character and I debated Eyebite, but decided I want the enemies to be able to see me. I picked up Tide of Iron (we're using 13-18 for stats so I still have a decent strength) altho I did debate Eldritch Balst just to have a ranged blast ;)

I have seen discussion in other threads about this, when you already have the skill you get by multi-classing. I think the consensus there was you should get a skill focus in that skill.

but your game might find another solution better of course :)
