8 Bodaks...oi. Thank goodness my paladin recently picked up a sacred shield with a continual Death Ward effect.

Yeah, there's a lot of Death Wards being picked up by the players in my campaigns, too. Lot of 'em. Good choice.

To continue the hijack, a couple of games ago we encountered 6 medusas. Party level is ~20, but still 4 out of 6 were petrified (even the tank fighter who rolled a 1 on his save).

Not much protection against petrification...
