Chainmail in September: Cancelled

The difference is at least one box of drow miniatures, as well as a sign of what to expect from WOTC in future. I mean, wasn't it last week they said they would be releasing the Kilsek box?

Not that I'm a drow fan, mind you. I just don't like people saying one thing to assuage bad feelings from the fans, and then doing the exact opposite.

When a product line is cancelled, all bets are off on upcoming releases.

True, but I am getting a little tired of the "We will be releasing . . . er . . . no we won't" double talk that seems to be the WOTC corporate policy lately.

I realize that in today's corporate world, truth, honesty and customer satisfaction is for suckers, but today's business practices sure leave a bitter taste in my mouth.

what's the difference? it's dead. nobody cared.

I cared.

I know it's easy to just dismiss this news as meaningless to you, but please understand that there are people who actually play the game, enjoy the game, and who are a little irritated at WotC for jerking us around all year long...
