Well, at least the ten reasons are more interesting than the excerpts they posted... man, were those unappealing and uninteresting, or is it just me?
That's really really not saying much. I thought those 10 reasons were some of the lamest I've read at WotC's site.

Shemeska, since you seem to be intent on getting the book despite of all this :D please, let us know if we were wrong about it.

I will. I'll give it a look when it hits the bookstores around here and if it's got enough good stuff to override the so far apparent shallow take on the nature of evil, I'll be picking it up.

I already have Lords of Darkness. How necessary is this book? Is it geared more to PCs or NPCs?

I saw a copy in my game store on my lunch break. It seemed to me to be geared toward NPCs. It didn't seem very useful if you are not running a Forgotten Reams game.

Yeah Shem. I'd like to know if I should save my money for something more worthwhile...

Like possibly Lords of Madness among others.

Well, I'll get the book like I got all the other FR stuff before (I'm a FR Fan after all).

But you cannot go wrong with Lords of Madness! That's one nice book. I'd say, if you're not into FR, go for LoM!

I WAS an FR fan. Now I'm just a guy that likes to reminisce..and dream of the day when the Archfiends and Celestials run the show instead of these pansy gods. :p

The book has officially sold itself to me. Malkazid is apparently a yugoloth lord (according to one person with the book, but this may not be correct) and there's some 'loth related vile feats as well as some other NE 'goodness' therein. Pander to my likes and I will reward you with my cash.

Where did you get that info from? Does it say anything else about drow? Maybe recent developments and their effects on the pantheon?

From a discussion over on Candlekeep with folks who have the book. Ed Bonny and a few other folks snagged copies and are taking questions. The Malkazid (being a 'loth lord) may have been a false claim as I've heard that from only one person and Baatezu from other folks.
