they're essentially spend a feat get a stat point. In epic levels you get one feat every three levels as is the norm. So we simply took the feats, X'd out the 'epic' indicator from them, and made them optional. So players could have their character training his desterity by jumping from small post to small post or whatnot instead of practicing his dodging to make his way to that wonderful spring attack feat. Or he begins weight lifting buckets of water instead of practicing putting enough force into his swing to cleave through opponents. So you lose a feat but gain a stat point. In the end it could make a pretty beefy character but the only way I can see it abused is by fighters and even then there are plenty ways around that. I mean my Rogue might spend one feat to get that 19 Dex to 20 but he's not going to miss out on getting those precious feats. And neither is my Sorcerer who needs to save up for those metamagic feats. So in the end it's often a decent enough trade off in my book.
