Herzog
Adventurer
This is a character build in development, to be used as a backup character.
Instead of trying to convince my DM the Changeling qualifies for Warshaper, I decided to go the other way:
I start out with 5 levels of Wildshape Ranger (Unearthed Arcana), then 1 level of Master of Many Forms (for Humanoid shapechange), then 5 levels of Warshaper (for the multimorph ability!) and then continue with Master of Many Forms.
With Multimorph, I will be able to change between forms, including 'normal' humanoid forms.
Even before that, I can use the Changelings Minor Shapechange ability to alter the humanoid form to look like something that will fit in (while retaining the extra's from the form I changed in to)
I can dress (in the morning) AFTER changing into a form, so no equipment will be absorbed by my body (unless I'd want to) and with Extra Wildshape (Complete Divine) I can crank up my number of wildshapes at the lower levels, when I need it to stay in wildshape most of the time.
My only problem at this point: If I read the errata'd Wildshape rules correctly, every 5 hours (my wildshape duration) all my equipment will magically 'fall off' because I return to my 'normal' form (even if I still look like something else because of my Minor Shapechange)
Before turning to my DM to houserule this out: is there a way to avoid this?
Preferably something that will allow me to make my wildshapes continuous (by starting the new wildshape before the old one ends)
