D&D 5E Changes from the playtest: Combat

It dosent net you an extra Bonus Action.

So a s I understand it, a 20th level fighter would get 4 main hand attacks, another 4 main hand attacks from action surge, and a final off-hand attack. He can only do this twice before dropping down to 5 attacks a round.

18 attacks in two rounds is damn cray cray! but then we're talking 20th level, so... everything's cray cray up there. im more concerned with 5th and 11th level, but anyways..

Yes, I actually agree wholeheartedly. Comparisons at 20th level are often pretty meaningless to most games, it's an unfortunate habit I have picked up that I really should get out of.
