Char Builder bug... no bug reporting!

Hi

After reloading my PC to Win7 (and finding that the characters weren't being saved where I pointed.. in My Docs.. but they had defaulted back to c:\program files\etc :rant::rant:) I have had to rebuild 2 player's PCs.

I have noticed a couple of bugs on the Wizard (Reaper's Touch now only available to Shadar Kai and Magic Missile is under an encounter power  ) I looked for the bug report button which, according to the FAQ, is at the bottom left... but it ain't there for me. Is it a bug, has it been removed on purpose or am I just blind?

Any help much appreciated

Thanks, a (raging) M1.9P

Is there an item that provides Magic Missile as an encounter power? If so that's why it's only Encounter. Two sources providing same power but at different resources granularities defaults to the "higher resource cost".

Also Reaper's Touch may have been errata'd. Check compendium. The annual did some errata.

Reaper's Touch was actually changed via eratta. Magic missile also may be coming from an item instead of your at-will (say a wand?), known issue.

There's a forum on WotC's site for bug reporting.

Mmm I kinda guessed it may have been errata, I will just house rule it, not exactly overpowered to allow an eladrin to have it. Yeah he has a master's wand of magic missile, is there a work around to get it back under at wills (he still needs to equip it as he has dual implement caster feat)

EDIT: Well it is not errata, it is not in the errata document just released. So it is still a bug or error. Something is wrong: is it the original dragon issue or the compendium or the builder or the dragon annual (republished there) or the errata or......

2nd EDIT: ignore that obviously Dragon errata is not in the errata document LOL; I will stick with my house rule rather than make him choose another feat.

AFAIK there isn't a way to get the encounter card turned into an at will. My gnomish mage had that issue with, what was it, Ghost Sound? He just played with one red card shuffled in with the greens. I am with you though, it *is* annoying. I would like to have more control over the cards and what they contain. Things like improperly calculated bonuses from feats and Paragon Paths should be easy to fix, as well as odd cases like the one with the wand.
