Hello GURPS! Reactivating my first GURPS Fantasy campaign after a long pause.

We will be using GCA, an offline tool.

I suppose they are doing a case-sensitive match to speed up retrieval, but I hope they actually tested how much time that really saves, because it's just asking for bugs.

They should just run a propcase function on the database. It's better to clean the data than to write slower but more robust code.

Well, I'm no expert -- my own hijinks are strictly client side -- so your guess is undoubtedly better than mine. But it does look like they did something less than ideal.

Made a Scout last night, but there's no way to get the off-hand weapon to display in the Dual Weapon Attack power. It always displays the primary weapon as the off-hand weapon, so unless your primary weapon is exactly the same weapon and enchantment as the off-hand its going to be wrong.

The second (and bigger one) is that printing (even printing to PDF with cutePDF) currently just prints completely blank sheets (as in completely white)... I'm going to be restarting my computer at some point to see if that fixes this.

I'm having a similar problem. It prints the last page first, most of the time, then proceeds to shoot out blank pages at high speed.

I let my DDI account lapse, and I'm disinclined to renew it in January.

How is the Export function activated? I don't seem to find it on any of the screens in the CB. I must be missing it, and I don't see an explanation of how to export in the help files.

....Actually, never mind, I found it. When you go to the "Home" page and click on "Load", and the CB shows you all the characters you've saved, it then gives you three buttons on the lower right hand side, Export, Import and Load. Maybe the "Load" option on the Home page should say "Load/Export/Import".
