Yeah, he was only a little dead proving just because you die in SK’s higher-level games doesn’t mean you stay dead. The rule doesn’t just apply to dragonne’s.

The NPC only has one more scroll of that spell. So, if you want to die twice more, it would be permanent. Well, Bren learned the same trick, so it would have to be thrice more.

In my Kingmaker campaign, if you haven't purchased a scroll of Raise Dead in advance and have it on account with the priest, your body gets shipped off to see the druid for a cheaper spin of the reincarnation wheel. The half-orc barbarian, general of the army, got full orc the first time. The second time, he got gnome.
