Character Submission Thread

Second look: Weel Naxel

Thanks much for the other math catches, as well. A fair number of them were from all the switching I was doing (so I had old values from a previous version, and didn't catch all the ripples from a given change).

Iteration errors happen a lot, and are hard for the original author to catch when the numbers start to blur. No worries, happy to help.

There's not a particular deity, though. As far as I can tell, Oracles don't need them (and the fluff text for the class suggests they probably shouldn't worship a particular deity).

Oracles seem to be the middle of the divine pack in terms specific deity association. Clerics/Paladins are at the top, and Witches are at the bottom (and straddle the divine/arcane boundary). And even Clerics can be pantheists. That's the way it looks to me, anyway. So I thought I'd ask. :)

Now that the mithral armor issue is resolved, everything is looking good. STAMP! One non-judge APPROVAL.

Update: Dunkel Metzgerei

The now that Rogar is fully defined, the only potential issue I see with Dunkel is his traits. Undead Slayer is nominally a Religion specific trait; I'm not sure how they are handled in LPF. However, I think Beacon of Faith is going to be problematic, since I can't find it in any approved source. The only reference I see is Ultimate Campaign.

Outside of that, looking good!

Dunkel looks good. I'm thinking a judge call on how religion traits work is ok with me.

STAMP! Dunkel has one non-judge APPROVAL. Character sheet marked and moved to DWI.

PS: Traits from Ultimate Campaign were just brought up as a voting issue, so you can revert to Beacon of Faith if it passes.

Ok, I switched Beacon of Faith for Reactionary and I'll await words on Undead Slayer.

Traits from Ultimate Campaign are now approved so Beacon of Faith is an acceptable trait to select. Religion traits are not specifically disallowed and have been used in the past. I think that as long as it can be justified through the character's history or religion then they are ok.

So I wrote my second character and she is now ready to seek approval:

http://livingpf.wikia.com/wiki/Tamarie_(Aura)

It seems I've missed the boat as I worked on other projects, so no rush on this one. I chose Celestial bloodline even though there was a bloodline specifically for musical sorcerers. I just liked the feel of the character with Celestial.

OK, reviewing Tamarie:

  • Nuthin'. I got nuthin'. Nicely done, Aura!

Tamarie has her judge APPROVAL to begin play as a first level LPF character. She needs one more approval to begin earning experience on her adventures; that one can come from a judge or from a non-judge.

Reviewing Devlin:

Made a few formatting changes to make the Racial section easier to read. Otherwise, I found nothing.

Devlin has his Judge's APPROVAL for first level, and is now fully approved for LPF play. Enjoy!

Woohoo, Devlin can now officially go about all that wonderful bomb throwing, mutagen drinking, monster killing, and halfling dancing action! Thanks!
